We don’t hire for roles. We hire for the mission

Silicon Prime hires people who believe in the mission and own outcomes end-to-end. We build small pods — one accountable lead per engagement, no junior bench — so the people we hire do the work themselves, and teach others to do it well.

    A real, scoped exercise from a real engagement, paid at a market day rate. We review the work, not your test-taking.

    Working session

    A two-hour pairing session with the pod you’d join — design review, code review, or an open client problem.

    References & offer

    We call three references you choose and two we find. If it aligns, a written offer within 48 hours.

Average end-to-end: 2–3 weeks — a decision either way within 10 business days of your first call.

Yes, for a select few roles such as Prompt Engineer and AI Evaluation & Safety Engineer, open to candidates in US time zones. The rest are based at our LA, SF Bay Area, and New York offices.

What is the interview process?
Five steps: an email application, a 30-minute conversation with the founder, a paid take-home from real work, a two-hour working session with the pod you’d join, and references plus a written offer.
How long does hiring take?
It averages 2 to 3 weeks end-to-end. We aim to give you a decision either way within 10 business days of your first call, and a written offer within 48 hours of the final conversation.
Is the take-home exercise paid?
Yes. It is a real, scoped exercise drawn from an actual engagement, paid at a market day rate. We review the work itself, not your test-taking ability.
Do you hire junior engineers or interns?
