Silicon Prime was founded in 2011 inside the Stanford ecosystem in Palo Alto. From the beginning, the company was shaped by a practical research question: why do ambitious software initiatives fail between concept and production?
Strong ideas, technical prototypes, and executive mandates often lose momentum when they meet legacy systems, unclear ownership, slow release processes, fragmented teams, and low adoption. It's a pattern the wider industry keeps confirming — GARTNER ↗ expects 30% of generative AI projects to be abandoned after proof of concept. That question became central to Silicon Prime's work.
We are an AI lab now — not a development shop, not a consultancy, not a staffing partner. An applied AI lab that ships.
Silicon Prime is now focused on applying that research to enterprise transformation. We help organizations define how AI should operate inside the business — not just where AI tools can be inserted. We start from the workflow rather than the model, because durable value comes from the operation, not the demo. That research is now formalized in our own patent-pending Aegis AI methodology — Silicon Prime's own proprietary contribution — and it draws on our published research library at Research & Insight. The work is led by the people accountable for it: founder Kelvin Tran (Stanford-rooted; 12+ years building and shipping production AI systems for the enterprise) and co-founder Suhail Abidi (Stanford GSB).

Responsible AI is built into the model from the start.
A system may be technically capable, but if teams do not trust it, leaders cannot govern it, or operations cannot support it, it will not create durable value. Enterprise AI cannot scale without trust. As of June 2026 · reviewed quarterly.
What responsible adoption means at Silicon Prime
01 / DesignAI systems are designed around the people and workflows they support.
02 / SecurityData access, security, and production risk are addressed before scale.
03 / JudgmentHuman judgment remains part of critical decisions.
04 / EnablementTeams get the context and training needed to adopt new systems with confidence.
05 / OutcomesBusiness outcomes are measured beyond the initial deployment.
The strongest AI programs do not replace organizational capability. They increase it.
AI isn't always the right move. When the data isn't ready or the workflow isn't understood yet, the honest answer is to fix that first — not to ship a model. And when the real problem is a broken process or a single missing hire, we'll say so rather than sell you a model you don't need.

It is known for treating responsible AI as something built into the model from the start, and for measuring business outcomes well beyond the initial deployment.
Neither. Silicon Prime is an applied AI lab that ships — explicitly not a development shop, not a consultancy, and not a staffing partner. It applies research on why software fails between concept and production to help enterprises define how AI should operate inside the business.
