The most advanced strength & conditioning software
A performance-training platform that helps coaches build better athletes — with real data.
Founded by Olympians and elite coaches to digitize human performance, Bridge partnered with Silicon Prime to design, build, and scale its platform across mobile and web — a partnership running strong for 7+ years.

The Client
Built to digitize human performance.
Bridge was founded by Olympians, professional athletes, and coaches — with a mission to digitize human performance and help athletes train smarter, see real results, and perform at the highest levels.
The Challenge
Elite training still ran on paper and spreadsheets.
Bridge wanted an app that helps athletes train and track their progress. But most elite and consumer training was — and often still is — done without data: on spreadsheets, or pen and paper.
Physical therapy hadn't gone digital either, with trainers leaning on legacy 1990s software or a Xeroxed sheet covered in highlights and handwritten notes. No software existed to support the idea — and that's where Silicon Prime came in.
Rather than digitize the old paper workflow one-for-one, we built a data-first platform — so every rep, set, and session became a number a coach could act on, not just a note to file away.
The Process
An embedded team that's shipped alongside Bridge since 2012.
Silicon Prime assembled top-notch developers, experienced QA engineers, and a project manager — integrated seamlessly into the in-house Bridge team — and together built a platform that helps coaches create better athletes.
Workout programming
An intuitive interface for coaches to build and assign training programs to every athlete.
Progress tracking
Real data behind every session, so athletes and coaches can see what's working.
Mobile & web
One platform across iOS, Android, and the web — coaches plan, athletes train anywhere.
An embedded team
Developers, QA, and a PM working as part of Bridge — increasing throughput across apps.
Build better athletes from better data — real numbers behind every rep, set, and session.
Approach & Lessons
Why we built a data model first, not a digital paper form.
The obvious path was the faster one: take the coach's paper sheet and put it behind glass — the same rows and columns, now on a phone. It ships sooner and looks familiar on day one. We chose the slower path and modeled the domain instead — an athlete, a program, an exercise, a logged set — so that a completed workout became structured data rather than a photographed page. The trade was real: more schema and API work up front, and a UI that couldn't just mirror the sheet a coach already knew.
The non-obvious part isn't the charts — it's what a coach is willing to type mid-session. A data model is only as good as the input it actually receives, and a strength floor is a hostile place to fill in forms: chalky hands, a moving clock, an athlete waiting. The estimated-1RM and trend views only earn their keep because logging a set takes seconds, not minutes. Get the capture friction wrong and the cleanest schema in the world just collects blanks. That's why the payoff compounds over a long partnership — the model gets richer the more it's actually used.
A data-first model isn't free. It asks more of a coach on the very first session — before any trend has had time to accumulate — and a team that only needs to hand out a fixed program for a few weeks would be over-served by it. The approach pays off when training is ongoing and measured over time; for a short, one-off block, the lighter "digital sheet" we chose against would have been the honest call. Bridge's is the former case, which is why the platform — and the partnership behind it — is still shipping years on.
